For Investors · Algiers, 2026

Algeria's everyday super-app.

Social feed, TV & cinema, messaging, marketplace, wallet, and creator missions — on one rail, for 45 million Algerians. The 50,000 flexy shops are our retail on-ramp, not our ceiling.

01 — What we are

A super-app built around the feed.

45M Algerians

Dziri

Social feed, TV & cinema, messaging, creator missions, marketplace, wallet — one super-app.

Algerian SMBs

Dziri Business

Campaigns, storefront, influencer marketplace, studio.

Flexy resellers

Dziri Shop

Voucher sales app with thermal-printer support, offline-ready.

The consumer app is social-first: the feed, content (TV & cinema), messaging, and creator missions form the daily-use core. Wallet and marketplace are integrated surfaces — not a separate product the user has to switch to. A single real-time backend powers every surface, with audit, rate-limiting, and tenancy enforced once and inherited everywhere.

02 — Why Algeria, why now

The conditions just locked into place.

  • Loi 22-23 (2022) — the auto-entrepreneur regime opened a legal home for millions of informal merchants.
  • Loi 18-07 — Algerian personal-data law gives us a clear compliance framework.
  • Domestic card acceptance (CIB / EDAHABIA) reached operational reliability in 2024.
  • Inexpensive thermal printers turn every flexy shop into a point of sale.
  • Mainstream digital-wallet adoption in Algeria has been proven viable at scale.
  • Universal messaging-app penetration means onboarding can happen on a channel merchants already trust.

These conditions were not all true five years ago. The window for a uniquely-Algerian commerce stack opens now.

03 — Market

45 million users · 50,000 retail nodes.

  • 45M+ Algerians with mobile internet, 70%+ smartphone penetration, growing.
  • ~50,000 flexy shops — the existing physical distribution network we partner with, not compete against.
  • ~2.4M informal merchants on social platforms today, of whom ~10% are credible candidates for the auto-entrepreneur ladder.
  • Diaspora corridor — France, Spain, Quebec, Italy. Remittance volume into DZ exceeds USD 2B annually.
  • Mid-market SMBs — ~120,000 registered Algerian SMBs underserved by both global SaaS and local agencies. Dziri Business is built for them.

04 — Defensibility

What makes this hard to copy.

  • Reseller network. Each flexy-shop activation is a long-tail relationship — physical sample kit, identity check, reseller agreement, welcome float seeded. Replicating that takes time, even with capital.
  • Audit + compliance posture. Loi 18-07 alignment, audit trail on every privileged action, tiered KYB. Partnerships with banks and telcos require this; bolting it on later costs 12–18 months.
  • Trilingual UX. AR / FR / EN throughout, with right-to-left handled at the component layer. Most non-Algerian competitors translate; we localise.
  • Closed-loop voucher framing. Avoids EMI-licensing requirements at our current scale, sized for graduation to a PSP licence when volume justifies it.
  • Code shipped, not promised. The consumer, advertiser, and reseller surfaces are live.

05 — Stage

Pre-Series A, product complete.

  • Three customer-facing surfaces in production — Dziri (consumer), Dziri Business (advertiser), and Dziri Shop (reseller).
  • Real-time backend with audit-logged operator actions and tenancy-checked data access on every function.
  • Voucher rail live for closed-loop on-ramp via flexy shops.
  • Tri-lingual experience (AR / FR / EN) across every customer surface.
  • Phase plan visible at /roadmap — no promised dates we can't hold.

06 — How we'd use capital

  • Reseller network. A field team of 8–12 area managers to onboard the first 2,000 flexy shops with white-glove activation, sample kits, and physical sample-print runs.
  • Trust + audit hardening. SOC-2-track internal controls, full Loi 18-07 audit, regulator-facing reporting cadence.
  • Mobile applications. Native iOS + Android with Expo for both consumer and Dziri Business.
  • Partnership integrations. Bank, telco, and civic services integrations that justify the platform's existence at the rail layer.
  • Working capital float for marketplace escrow and voucher reconciliation timing.

07 — How to talk to us

Three forms of conversation.

  • Read first. /about, /roadmap, /security, and /legal/vouchers. They cover most first-meeting questions.
  • Data room (NDA). Financial model, full pitch decks (Algerian seed, international Series A, strategic partnership), competitive analysis, and a one-pager are in the data room. Request access via investors@dziri.app with your fund's preferred legal entity for the NDA.
  • Working session. If you'd prefer to assess us by watching the product live, we'll schedule a 60-minute screen-share with the founder — operator console walk-through, live audit feed, and a real merchant onboarding flow end to end.

What we're not raising

We're not raising on hype. We aren't going to talk about billion-dollar TAMs without showing the wedge. We aren't going to quote vanity downloads. The story is: infrastructure, built carefully, with a defensible Algerian-only first chapter before any cross-border or B2B-API expansion. If that matches your fund's thesis, we'd like to talk.
